Why it matters

Staffing priorities for Texworld NYC 2027

A buyer may review several fabrics before deciding which samples to request. Staff can keep the collection name, reference and contact details together while your representative explains the material. That organization makes it easier to follow up with the items the buyer selected.

Staffing brief

Texworld NYC 2027 staffing brief

Organize the collection before briefing talent. Identify product codes, sample locations, take-away materials and the representative responsible for each category. Explain which information is approved for an initial introduction and which needs confirmation. Show staff how to record a swatch request and where to place materials for follow-up. If buyers may ask about minimum quantities, lead times or certifications, give hosts a clear escalation route. An attractive sample display still needs an orderly handoff to the person who can discuss supply.

Front of the booth

Booth reception staff can help a Texworld buyer find the collection they want to review. A short conversation can establish the fabric category or sourcing need, then direct the visitor to the appropriate collection. Hosts can manage scheduled buyer arrivals, find a sales representative and record a return visit when the table is occupied.

Traffic & attention

The operational team

Full booth staffing for Texworld NYC 2027

A collection-led booth may need a reception host who also organizes sample requests. If several salespeople are meeting buyers at once, add a coordinator who tracks appointments and pending follow-up. For language-specific requirements, name the language and duties in your request so availability and proficiency can be assessed. Discuss New York booth staffing with TSM and provide your Javits entrance and setup-ready reporting time. Before closing each day, reconcile sample requests with the sales team so product references and contact information remain together. Compare reception and visitor-support roles at MAGIC New York and ICFF for other programs in New York.

The organizer publishes January 19 and 20 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, and January 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST. The quote defaults use those show hours.

This edition is at the Javits Center, 429 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001. Add the booth number, reporting entrance and credential arrangements to the staff brief.

Yes. Provide the product-reference system and explain which samples may be distributed. The host can connect a buyer's contact details to the requested swatch, color or follow-up, then route the record to your sales team.

They can share terms you have explicitly approved for the assignment. Any exception, custom order or unconfirmed quantity needs your representative's answer. Staff should record the question rather than negotiate or assume a term applies.

Walk through the product families, sample codes and intended applications. Identify the salesperson for each category and the materials buyers may take. Show staff how to distinguish a display sample from a follow-up request.

Include the required language and expected tasks in your request. TSM can assess available talent for reception and introductions. Specialized translation of contracts or technical documentation should be arranged separately.

Supply approved wording and supporting product documentation. Talent can introduce that information and bring in your specialist for detailed questions. They should not extend a certification or environmental claim to products it does not cover.

Assign ownership of each buyer record and include the exact product reference, request and next action. Review incomplete records while the relevant salesperson and collection materials are still available at the booth.

Published talent rates are $50–$60 per hour for Tier Two, $60–$75 per hour for Tier One, and $75+ per hour for Elite. Talent set their own rates. We confirm pricing and availability for your Texworld NYC dates, roles and requested coverage.
