Two ways to work with TSM

TSM is a woman-owned event staffing and talent agency, founded in 2005, connecting brands with trained, local talent in 25+ U.S. markets. Choose your path below.

How booking works

From first message to show close, one dedicated account executive runs the process — often a quote within minutes once your details are confirmed.

1

Tell us about your event

Send your event name and dates, the city and venue, your booth size, the roles and headcount you need, attire, and what the staff will be doing. The more you share, the faster and tighter the quote.

2

Get a fast quote & choose your team

Start with Smart Quote: describe your event once and our AI compiles everything into one place. Your AE builds an accurate quote fast and sends a curated short list of profiles — interviewed and matched to your industry, audience and goals. You choose from a shortlist built for your event, not a directory.

3

We brief & prep your team

Our AI builds each model a Client-Intelligence Brief — your brand, products, talking points and audience — that they study in the portal before the doors open. You get your own event brief to review and shape, too. The person at your booth sounds like they work for you, not a temp who showed up that morning.

4
Show day

Your team works the floor through show close

Leading up to the show, the portal keeps your team and ours in sync with multiple proactive touchpoints and a firm confirmation before doors open — so coverage is locked in and a replacement window is protected if anything changes. On event day, talent greets and qualifies attendees and captures leads (Cvent, Compusystems, Validar, Klik, Bartizan); a team lead runs shifts and coverage — your booth stays covered to the final hour, never an early walk-off.

How to join & get booked

Apply, get approved, set your availability, and accept the bookings that fit. You work events in or near your own city, and you know what a booking pays before you say yes.

1

Apply

Apply through our sign-up form with a few recent photos, your city, and any event experience. Upload a resume and our AI builds out your profile and bio for you — stripping your personal contact info. There’s no fee to apply or join. You must be at least 18.

2

Get reviewed & approved

We review every application and reach out to qualified candidates — often for a short phone or video interview — about opportunities in your market. No professional modeling experience is required.

3

Build your profile & set availability

Once you’re on the roster, your talent profile holds your photos, skills, languages and availability. Keep it current so your coordinator can match you to the right events.

4

Get matched & booked

Your AE matches you to events by role, market, language, experience and availability. Before each booking you get the event details and a Client-Intelligence Brief. Your rate is shared with each opportunity, so you know what it pays before you accept.

5

Work the event & get paid

Talent work as independent contractors. Before your first booking you complete a W-9 and our talent agreement; you’re paid after the event without tax withholding, and receive a 1099 at year end.

6

Build your standing

Clients submit reviews after each event, and strong reviews improve your placement priority for future bookings. Show up prepared and reliable and you’ll see more work.

What we look for

You don’t need a modeling background. We look for professionalism, reliability, strong communication, a polished presentation, and the confidence to represent a brand on a busy floor. Many of our best talent come from sales, hospitality, retail and marketing. Talent of diverse ages, looks and backgrounds — and all genders — work TSM events. We don’t require exclusivity.

Why TSM is different

AI does the homework. A human makes the call.

Most staffing agencies email you a roster and hope. TSM runs one connected system where AI is the backbone that makes our people better — it does the research and the legwork so our account executives and our talent show up sharper and better prepared than anyone else on the floor. People still make every call that matters.

Human-led

You choose from a vetted short list — not a directory

The talent you see has been interviewed and matched to your brand and event by your account executive — chosen for your booth, never a roster dump or whoever happened to be free.

Standard

Trained talent, required reading

Every TSM contractor agrees to published talent guidelines and a code of conduct before they represent you — professionalism, punctuality (on-site 15 minutes early), brand alignment, floor conduct. Training is the standard, not an upsell.

AI-assisted

The Client-Intelligence Brief

Before the show, our AI assembles each model a brief on your brand, products, talking points and audience. They study it in the portal — so the person at your booth sounds like they work for you, not a temp who showed up that morning.

Built with you

A real event brief for you, too

You get your own brief to review and shape — talking points, products, dress code, goals. A sharp brief turns a staffed booth into a selling booth, and we build it with you.

Automated

Proactive communication that prevents no-shows

Multiple automatic touchpoints in the run-up to your event, plus a firm confirmation before doors open, keep your team locked in and protect a replacement window if anything changes. Your booth is covered, not crossed-fingers.

AI + Human

Two-way reviews after every event

Clients rate talent and talent leave feedback; strong reviews raise a model’s priority for future bookings. The people you’re offered have continuously earned their place.

Compile, quote, curate, brief, remind, perform, review — one connected system, run by people. That’s why a TSM booth runs sharper than a booth that’s merely staffed.

For brands

Hiring staff — FAQs

Once you share your event details, your account executive usually returns an accurate quote the same day — often within minutes through Smart Quote when the event is in our system.

You choose. We send a curated short list of interviewed profiles matched to your brand, audience and goals, and you approve who works your booth — it's never a blind directory dump.

Talent is sourced locally in 25+ U.S. markets, so in most cities there are no airfare, hotel or per-diem costs — and your staff already know the venue.

Selection from real profiles, a pre-event Client-Intelligence Brief, a dedicated account executive who manages the team on-site, and full insurance ($1M/$2M general liability, COI on request).

Every booking runs multiple proactive touchpoints in the run-up to your event, plus a firm confirmation before doors open that protects a real replacement window — so your booth is covered, not crossed-fingers.

Talent typically runs $50–$85 per hour depending on role, language and program length. Most shifts are 8 hours with a 4-hour minimum, and every booking includes staff selection, a brand briefing and a dedicated account manager. Your quote reflects your roles, hours and market.
